Being a huge fan of both MAC and Alice + Olivia, I was ecstatic when I found out that they were teaming up to launch a new collection. This holiday season, I fell in love with Urban Decay.

It first started with Urban Decay’s 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils. Seriously, the best eyeliners I have ever used. I used to use Sephora’s eyeliner. They were inexpensive and went on smoothly. Recently, I wanted to try a liquid eyeliner for a more intense color and longer lasting, but had difficulty applying it correctly. Urban Decay’s 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils gave me both what I wanted (intense color, long lasting) and what I needed (smooth line, easy to apply). I currently use the eye pencils in Zero (black) and Bourbon (brown) and love them both. Seriously, the back of the box says it all!

Continuing on with the 24/7 theme, their eyeshadow primer is an excellent buy as well. In an earlier post, I mentioned Too Faced’s Shadow Insurance. Both products are great to have. I have Urban Decay’s Eyeshadow Primer Potion in Sin which doubles as eyeshadow and primer. You can apply it with either your finger or the wand. I found that the wand was much easier to apply then I had anticipated. The end result is the same as with Too Faced’s Shadow Insurance — long lasting eyeshadow wear. Stila’s smudge pots are fantastic! They can be used as either shadow or liner and they stay on all day. I used to use a dark smudge pot as eyeliner when I had to dance on stage. The color stayed all day and I never felt the need to reapply.
