Beauty Products: Best of 2010
BEST LIP COLOR: Revlon Just Bitten Lip Stain + Balm for $8.99
Personally, I tend to stick with lip glosses & stay away from lip sticks because they leave my lips feeling dry. This lip stain is the best of both worlds. Long-lasting lip color, inexpensive, & attached balm to keep your lips moisturized? Yes please!
BEST LIP GLOSS: Urban Decay Lip Junkie for $19
If after trying the Revlon Just Bitten Lip Stain, you decide that you are definitely just a gloss girl but are dying for more color, look no further than Urban Decay’s Lip Junkie. Beautiful color, long lasting shine & a minty fresh flavor.
BEST EYE SHADOW: Urban Decay Eyeshadow for $18
I am addicted to Urban Decay’s eye shadow. They have matte colors for every day wear, shimmery colors for highly pigmented intensity & glittery colors for those special occasions. Buy any of their amazing eye shadow palettes to try a variety of colors & save money!
BEST EYE SHADOW PRIMER: Too Faced Shadow Insurance for $18
Although I do love Urban Decay’s eyeshadow primer as well, I find myself constantly coming back to Too Faced’s Shadow Insurance. For the same price & end result, I prefer it’s simple application. Just squeeze the primer out of the tube & onto your finger to apply versus Urban Decay’s brush. Both are great products – it’s just my personal preference.
BEST LIQUID EYELINER: MAC Superslick Liquid Eyeliner for $17.50
I was honestly scared to try liquid eyeliner at first but now I am addicted. MAC’s liquid eyeliner brush goes on so finely that application is easy, even for a beginner. Eyeliner lasts all day & is perfect for a fun night out!
BEST EYE LINER: Sephora Collection Nano Eyeliner for $5
I’ve tried plenty of other eyeliners but you just can’t beat the price. The color goes on smoothly & even though the eye pencil is much smaller than most, it lasts me a lot longer than other eyeliners.
BEST MASCARA: L’oreal Double Extend Beauty Tubes Mascara for $8.99
I LOVE this mascara. The first time I applied it, it instantly looked like I had fake eyelashes on. The beauty tubes technology makes it easy to remove the product at night.
BEST NAIL POLISH: Ulta Nail Polish for $5 (or cheaper with Ulta deals!)
A lot of people I know are addicted to Essie but you just can’t beat the deals that Ulta has. Their own brand of nail polish is fantastic! Smooth to apply, variety of colors & inexpensive! If you have an Ulta store near you, you should make the switch to Ulta nail polish.
BEST BRONZER: NARS Laguna Bronzer for $32
My favorite bronzer – hand down! I’ve had this product since high school & I still love the color. For blush, try NARS Orgasm.
BEST SELF TANNER: L’oreal Sublime Bronze Lotion $8.48
Scared to try a self tanner? You HAVE to try this product. It’s inexpensive, nearly impossible to leave streaks, tinted & it doesn’t smell bad. Make sure to buy the lotion or the spray. I have heard horrible things about the gel & haven’t tried the towelettes yet. I prefer the lotion but again, personal preference.

Have to recommend Mixed Chicks Leave-In Conditioner, I have curly hair, and will never use hair gel/mousse/glaze ever again!
